Oh hello there chocolate cherry lover! This one is for you! Here’s my Black Forest Cake that I had the pleasure of baking this past week from scratch. It actually came as a request! I was definitely excited to whip up this cake in my kitchen, no doubt about it. I’ve always loved baking and trying out new ideas / recipes.

This is a two tier, rich chocolate cake that is to die for all cherry fans out there. While I am personally not a fan of maraschino cherries myself, I do love the vibrant color of them to top off the cake. The inside of this cake is filled with a gooey cherry filling that just oozes out. The next time I make this cake will be slightly different which I am looking forward to.
